In short
How to contact Probity & Ethics
You can reach Probity & Ethics by telephone on 020 7118 0703, by email at mail@www.probityandethics.com, or through the contact form on this page.
We are a CPD provider, certified by The CPD Certification Service under Provider No. 13197, running ethics, probity and professionalism courses for registrants of all nine UK healthcare and social work regulators. Email is the quickest route for most enquiries, and it lets you set out the detail of what has been raised with you.
Every regulator has its own page on this site, setting out the concerns that regulator commonly raises and the courses written to its standards, so most people find what they need without writing to us at all. If something is unclear, or you have a question about bulk buying, invoices, or a face-to-face date, we are glad to answer it. We cannot advise you on the conduct of your own case — that is a matter for your defence organisation or a regulatory solicitor.
Three routes
Ways to get in touch
All three reach the same small team. Choose whichever suits what you need to ask.
Best for anything with detail: quotes for a team, invoices and receipts, questions about how a course or the bulk buy offer works, or access problems with a course you have already bought.
mail@www.probityandethics.com Write in your own words. There is no form to fill in first.Telephone
Best for a quick question you would rather ask than type. We will not ask you for details of your case, and you do not need to give any.
020 7118 0703 If nobody picks up, email is the faster route.Contact form
Best if you would rather fill in a few fields than compose an email from scratch. It opens your own email app with everything already written, so you can read it back before you send.

Read the courses first
Each regulator has its own page, setting out the concerns that regulator commonly raises and the courses written to its standards, with a selector that narrows them by the type of concern. If you know which body is writing to you, start there and choose in your own time.

Teams and organisations
Buying for more than one person
Trusts, practices, chambers and education teams buy places for several registrants at once. Tell us how many people and which areas you need covered, and we will put a quote together.
- Bulk buy for one personAny ten online courses for £500, or £949 with a live face-to-face day included. No quote needed — see the bulk buy offer.
- Several colleaguesEmail us the number of places and the concerns you want covered. We will quote and can invoice your organisation.
- In-house teachingThe same material runs as a facilitated day for your own staff, via video link. See courses for healthcare organisations.
- Invoices and purchase ordersTell us what your finance team needs on the invoice and we will raise it that way.
Handled in confidence
What happens to what you tell us
Most people who write to us are in the middle of something difficult. It is reasonable to want to know where your message goes.
- We do not contact your regulatorNothing you tell us is shared with the GMC, the NMC or any other regulator. We have no reporting relationship with any of them.
- We do not contact your employerUnless an organisation bought the course for you. Where a trust, clinic, university, agency or other body has bought a seat and assigned it to you, that organisation can see that you completed the course and on what date.
- Your enquiry is not marketing dataWe answer your question. We do not add you to a mailing list because you asked one.
- Courses are taken privatelyOnline courses are worked through on your own device. If you buy a course yourself, nobody is told you have enrolled.
How we handle personal data is set out in our privacy policy.
FAQs
Questions people ask before writing
Can you advise me on my own case?
No. Probity & Ethics is an education provider, not a law firm, and nothing we say is advice on your individual matter. For that, speak to your defence organisation, your indemnity provider or a regulatory solicitor — and do so before you send anything to your regulator.
What we can do is tell you which of our courses address the concerns that have been raised, and what a certificate from us does and does not evidence.
How do I work out which courses I need?
Start with your regulator’s own page on this site. Each one lists the concerns that regulator commonly raises, with a selector that narrows the courses by the type of concern, and a core set that applies to any case. Every course says what it covers.
If something is still unclear after that, write and ask.
Is my enquiry confidential?
Yes. We do not contact your regulator or your employer about anything you tell us, and we have no reporting relationship with any regulator. Where an organisation has bought a course seat and assigned it to you, that organisation can see your completion of that course; a course you buy yourself is seen by nobody but you. You do not need to tell us the details of the allegation for us to help — the heading of the concern is enough.
I have a deadline in a few days. Is it worth starting now?
Usually, yes. Our online courses give immediate access and issue a dated CPD certificate as soon as you finish, so it is possible to have evidence the same day. Say in your first line that you are close to a deadline.
A certificate on its own carries limited weight. What a panel reads is the reflection you write from it, so leave yourself time for that as well.
Can I buy courses for colleagues or for my team?
Yes. Email us the number of places and the areas you need covered and we will quote, and invoice your organisation if that is easier. For a single person taking several courses, the bulk buy offer is any ten for £500 and needs no quote.
Do you run face-to-face teaching?
Yes, as live facilitated days via video link, for individuals on scheduled dates and for organisations as an in-house session. Details are on the face-to-face courses page and the page for organisations.
I have bought a course but cannot get into it
Email us with the address you used at checkout and we will sort it out. Access is granted as soon as payment clears, so this is almost always a login or spam-folder question rather than anything having gone wrong with the order.
Can I have an invoice or receipt for my employer?
Yes. Tell us what your finance team needs on it — a purchase order number, a department, a particular billing address — and we will raise it that way.
I am not registered in the UK. Are the courses still relevant?
The courses are written around UK regulatory standards and UK fitness to practice processes, and our certification is UK CPD certification. The underlying material on ethics, probity, boundaries and reflective practice travels, but the regulatory framing does not. Write and tell us your situation and we will give you an honest answer about whether it would be useful.
